Mating Season of Termites

Have you ever seen the creatures in the following photo?

These are commonly called "gamo gamo" in tagalog or "simot simot in iloco.  And to translate in english "termite flyers or warmers". They are harmless as long as their food is not your house.

And to quote, "A termite swarm is a telltale sign that a mature termite colony might lurk in your home or yard. As a homeowner, recognizing swarmer's is critical because it may mean that a well-established colony exists nearby, and there's a good chance they've already begun causing damage.".

And the usually during the dry season "first rains", is also a signal for them to come out and mate.
To have your house checked, you may call us for consultation and inspection because you might think that these are termites, they are actually ants. The price ranges in treating both problems is very significant.
